About us

We aim to become Austria’s next unicorn with our revolutionary solutions for sustainable heating combined with integrated Bitcoin mining. With our Bitcoin heating systems, we bring together energy efficiency, technology and sustainability – and actively help shape the energy transition.

As a Marketing Allrounder, you are at the heart of our brand presence. You keep the marketing engine running, turn ideas into impact and make sure we don’t just move, but accelerate. You coordinate channels, content, creators and campaigns so that everything runs in a consistent, creative and targeted way. You know what matters, set smart priorities and turn chaos into clear, structured flow. You make sure our marketing doesn’t just work – it excites.

This is a role with real impact – both operational and strategic – and crucial to ensuring that our marketing performs at a top level every single day.

Your mission

You are the central hub of 21energy’s day-to-day marketing operations: you plan, coordinate and create content, manage our channels, collaborate with creators and ensure that ideas turn into concrete posts, campaigns and stories.

  • All-rounder role: You take on all key marketing topics (content, social, influencer, newsletter, basic paid campaigns) while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
  • Brand building: You strengthen our 21energy brand – consistently, recognisably and with clear storytelling.
  • Quality & consistency: You ensure that our messages, content and channels present a unified image – clear, high-quality and always on-brand.

Your responsibilities

1. Social Media & Content

  • Build and maintain a content calendar for channels such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and X.
  • Create posts, reels, stories and short copy (in collaboration with the design team and independently using Canva).
  • Community management: respond to comments and messages, engage actively with followers.
  • Content research: identify trends around energy, Bitcoin, tech and sustainability and prepare them for our target audiences.

2. Influencer & Creator Marketing

  • Identify relevant influencers and content creators in the DACH region and Scandinavia (energy, tech, crypto, sustainability, DIY).
  • Reach out to them, brief them and coordinate collaborations (e.g. product tests, stories, YouTube features).
  • Organise samples, test installations and joint content activities.
  • Document and evaluate collaborations (reach, engagement, learnings).

3. Newsletter & Email Marketing

  • Plan and execute email campaigns (e.g. product updates, community stories, promotions).
  • Maintain mailing lists and target groups (segmentation with the support of CRM/tools).
  • Run A/B tests on subject lines, content and calls-to-action to improve open and click-through rates.

4. Ad Campaigns (Paid Social – at a general level)

  • Set up and manage basic Meta campaigns (Facebook/Instagram) to support awareness, reach and lead generation.
  • Work closely with our Performance Marketing Manager on deeper campaign optimisation and tracking.
  • Align creatives and messaging so that paid and organic efforts feel like one cohesive experience.

5. Brand & Organisation

  • Ensure a consistent brand presence (tone of voice, visual style, key messages).
  • Support smaller events, photo shoots, video productions or trade fairs (organisation and communication).
  • Help create essentials such as presentations, one-pagers or brochures in coordination with the team.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends in the fields of energy, heating, Bitcoin and sustainability.

Your profile

  • Completed degree or comparable education in communication, marketing or media, plus 2–4 years of experience in (online) marketing, social media or influencer marketing – ideally in start-ups, SMEs or agencies.
  • Broad understanding of marketing: you know the basics of social media, influencer collaborations, newsletter marketing and simple paid campaigns.
  • Hands-on mindset: you get things moving, drive topics forward and don’t get stuck in concepts.
  • Strong feel for language and copy: you can explain complex topics (energy, Bitcoin, tech) in a way that is clear, friendly and tailored to the audience.
  • Affinity for tools: experience with common tools such as Meta Business Suite, email/newsletter tools (e.g. Omnisend) and Canva or similar graphic tools.
  • Languages: excellent German (C1+) and good English, both spoken and written.
  • A basic understanding of crypto/Bitcoin or a strong interest in learning more is a big plus.

What we offer

  • Meaning & impact: You work on products that combine real CO₂ savings with innovative technology.
  • Generalist role with growth potential: You help build our overall marketing function – with the option to specialise later (e.g. brand, social, influencer, content).
  • Start-up spirit: Flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths and lots of room to shape and create.
  • Modern work environment: Height-adjustable desks, up-to-date equipment, offices in Innsbruck.
  • Development: Individual training budget (up to €3,000 per year).
  • Compensation: Annual gross salary starting at €43,000 (14x per year, according to Austrian standard), depending on experience – with a clear willingness to overpay for the right profile.

E-Commerce Lead (m/f/d)

Growth · Conversion · Shopify · Performance & Influencer
Innsbruck (preferred) · Full-time · Hybrid/Remote possible

Why this role?

We want to significantly scale our online revenue and materially increase our conversion rate.
As E-Commerce Lead, you build and run our e-commerce engine – not as a one-man/one-woman show, but as the orchestrator of a small team of specialists:

  • Performance Marketing
  • Marketing Allrounder (Content/Lifecycle)
  • Influencer/Creator Management
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

You set goals, direction and priorities – the team delivers on the operational side. You work closely with Web Ops/Development, Marketing/PR and Product.

Your responsibilities

1. Ownership & leadership

  • Own revenue & conversion: You carry end-to-end responsibility for our online targets (revenue, CR, ROAS/AOV) and align roadmap, budget and priorities accordingly.
  • Build & lead the team: Over time, you build a small e-commerce team (Performance, Influencer, CRO, Lifecycle/CRM) and lead it functionally – including clear goals, feedback and development.
  • Manage the Performance Marketing Manager: You define target KPIs, budgets, test hypotheses and campaign strategy. The operational campaign setup and management (Meta/X/YouTube etc.) sits with the Performance Marketing Manager – you prioritise, review and decide.
  • Manage the Marketing Allrounder: You define themes, stories and priorities (e.g. new offer mechanics, landing pages, newsletter campaigns) – the Allrounder executes content, email flows and basic paid campaigns.
  • Manage the Influencer Manager: You set the strategy (audiences, channels, creator types, offer structure) and define KPI frameworks & budget; the Influencer Manager owns day-to-day collaboration with creators/agencies, including sourcing and communication.
  • Manage the CRO/Conversion Manager: You prioritise the hypothesis backlog & test roadmap and make decisions based on results. The CRO Manager prepares tests (research, variants), sets them up and analyses outcomes.
  • Manage the Lead Designer: You define the creative direction and ensure that design maximises impact on both conversion and brand. The Lead Designer independently produces all required assets, based on CI, efficiently and at expert level.

2. Strategy & orchestration

  • Drive CRO & growth sprints: You establish 2-week sprints (“build–measure–learn”), ensure a structured testing process (checkout, PDP/PLP, offers, UX) and decide what gets rolled out.
  • Performance marketing strategy: You define the overarching strategy for our paid channels (structure, funnel logic, creative direction, audiences) and ensure that UTM/tracking & attribution work reliably. Your performance team takes care of execution.
  • Scale the influencer/creator engine: You build a scalable system (briefings, landing pages, codes/links, ROI reporting) and make sure creator collaborations scale without turning into chaos.
  • Lifecycle & CRM strategy (starting simple, later HubSpot): You define which flows we need and when (browse/cart abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, later B2B nurture) – setup and ongoing optimisation is handled by your team and/or relevant specialists.
  • Orchestrate collaboration: You coordinate closely with Web Ops (Shopify, templates, tracking), Design (assets), Marketing/PR (campaigns) and Product (new features). No coding required – but clear priorities, decisions and briefings.

3. Hands-on contribution (where it makes sense)

Your primary role is to manage – but you step in hands-on where it increases speed and quality.

Collaboration & structure

  • You report directly to the CEO and work peer-to-peer with Marketing/PR and Product.
  • Web Ops/Development are your key implementation partners for Shopify/tracking/templates.
  • You use weekly growth check-ins, bi-weekly CRO reviews and a monthly deep-dive to steer goals, team and initiatives.
  • Over time, you will lead a growing E-Commerce/Growth team.

Success examples at 90/180 days

90 days:

  • 1–2 A/B tests per week are running, a live dashboard for revenue/CR/ROAS is in place.
  • Roles and responsibilities within e-commerce are clearly defined (Performance, Influencer, CRO, Lifecycle) – everyone knows what they are driving.
  • An influencer “starter kit” (briefing, landing page template, codes) is live; first ROI measurement is comparable and structured.
  • Lifecycle MVP (browse/cart/post-purchase flows) is active – with noticeable incremental revenue.

180 days:

  • Conversion rate is clearly up, ROAS is stable; the creator engine scales (more collaborations, less operational load on the core team).
  • Checkout drop-off is reduced; product pages and offer mechanics are measurably improved.
  • Your team operates in clear sprints and routines – so that e-commerce can run day-to-day without you, and you can focus on strategy and scaling.

Must-haves

  • Proven e-commerce growth experience (Shopify or similar) with visible CR/revenue wins.
  • Strong CRO/A/B testing practice and confident handling of GA4/GTM as well as UTM & attribution.
  • Experience leading or functionally steering specialists (e.g. Performance, CRM, Influencer, CRO).
  • Performance know-how (Meta/X/YouTube) and structured collaboration with creators.
  • Clarity in communication & prioritisation; you lead through goals, data and sprints.
  • Very good German & English; Innsbruck preferred, remote possible (±2h time zone).

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with server-side tracking, Klaviyo/HubSpot or similar.
  • SEO/content fundamentals (pillar content, internal linking, CWV).
  • Experience with internationalisation (US/other markets), payments & tax basics.

Why 21energy?

We want to become Austria’s next unicorn with revolutionary solutions for sustainable heating and integrated Bitcoin mining. Join us in actively shaping the energy transition!

  • Massive leverage: You own what ultimately matters – revenue & conversion.
  • Ownership: Freedom to experiment, clear goals, short decision paths.
  • Perspective: Growth path towards Director of Growth / VP Growth as we scale successfully.
  • Short lines: Direct access to the CEO, clear priorities, pragmatic decisions.
  • Environment: Modern office in Innsbruck, motivated team; remote/hybrid possible (Innsbruck is a strong plus).
  • Relocation support: We support you in settling in (e.g. housing search/admin).

Salary & benefits

  • Annual gross salary (14x, Austrian standard): €60,000 – €85,000, depending on experience/qualification, plus bonus.
  • Participation programme (VSOP) potentially available over time.
  • Klimaticket Tirol from the second year, annual training budget up to €3,000.

Application

Send us your CV and 2 short examples where you visibly improved CR/ROAS (5–7 lines each: starting point → your approach → result) to hr@21energy.com. Applications are welcome regardless of gender, origin, age, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.
