Formulas

Chance per block = Your Hashrate / Network Hashrate

Each of the 144 daily blocks is like a lottery draw. Your odds of winning each draw equal your share of the total network hashrate.

Chance per day = 1 − (1 − chance per block) ^ 144

With 144 blocks mined per day, this calculates your cumulative probability of finding at least one block. The same logic extends to monthly (×30) and yearly (×365) odds.

Block reward = 3.125 BTC + transaction fees

When you find a block, you receive the full block reward plus all transaction fees in that block. The reward goes directly to your wallet — no pool, no middleman.

Solo vs. Pool mining

Solo mining

You mine independently and keep the entire block reward when you find one. Lower probability, but the full reward is yours. No KYC, no fees, no third party.

Pool mining

You combine hashrate with other miners for more frequent, smaller payouts. Pools typically charge 1–2% fees and may require account registration.

• Network difficulty adjusts roughly every 2 weeks. As more miners join the network, difficulty increases and your odds decrease.
• The block reward halves approximately every 4 years. The next halving (expected ~2028) will reduce it from 3.125 to 1.5625 BTC.

How we calculate

Formulas

BTC/day = (Hashrate / Network Hashrate) × 144 blocks × 3.125 BTC

Your miner's share of the total network, multiplied by the daily block rewards. 144 blocks are mined per day, each worth 3.125 BTC.

Revenue = BTC/day × BTC price

The BTC price is fetched live from the blockchain.info API and converted to your local currency.

Pays for itself = Product price / Monthly revenue

How many months of mining revenue it takes to cover the purchase price.
